VoxCann had the pleasure to present on the psychosocial aspects of cannabis to students at the Lionel-Groulx CEGEP during this Lunch and Learn. We discussed some of the history of cannabis prohibition as well as its effects particularly on racialized Canadians, cannabis education, what legalization could mean, the importance of contextualising use, and the links between cannabis use and mental health.
We had several fruitful exchanges with students as they asked questions and we were able to talk openly about harm reduction and making informed decisions not only for oneself, but also in supporting friends and loved ones who may be using cannabis.
